A team of students from the Industrial Design Group at the University of Tehran has achieved remarkable success in the Chery International Automotive Design Competition, earning two top rankings and bringing international recognition to the University.

The competition, centered on envisioning the future of Chery’s sub-brands through the philosophy of TAO, attracted nearly 1,000 design submissions from 300 universities around the world. Following a highly competitive evaluation process, Amir Pouya Khedrizadeh, a master’s student in Industrial Design, secured 10th place, while the undergraduate team consisting of AmirAbbas Ghiaspour and Erfan Moeini achieved 12th place.

From all submitted entries, only the top 15 designs were selected to participate in an intensive one-month professional internship program. Following the internship, the finalists underwent a comprehensive final evaluation, in which the University of Tehran students once again demonstrated their outstanding design capabilities.

This remarkable achievement reflects the creativity, talent, and professional competence of the University of Tehran’s Industrial Design students. It also reinforces the University’s growing international reputation and distinguished position in the field of automotive design.
